This is just a breathtaking photo! The relationship of the Parrotfish to the coral reef is just so intertwined. This image captures that closeness in all its splendid, colorful glory! The bond between the reefs and its inhabitants needs to be shown to all the world. And the world must act in unison, before we lose these precious underwater communities forever through our mismanagement and shortsightedness. We all share the same address. Both big and small. Both wet and dry. Planet Earth. Outstanding work Carmen!
As a native Floridian, Carmen captures her lifetime passion for the ocean and environment in every photograph and brush stroke.
Living in the Florida Keys allows her to dive and explore the secluded hammocks to express her enthusiasm for life in a creative manner. With the use of mixed media, texture, and a vibrant display of colors she generously shares her vitality for life and appreciation for the environment with the world. As an artist, photographer, and diver she finds time to volunteer for environmental cleanup projects from the shoreline to deep wreck dives.
Carmen and husband Jerry live on a remote island in the Keys.
Price list available upon request.
Thank you for viewing.
