Living in the Florida Keys allows her to dive and explore the secluded hammocks to express her enthusiasm for life in a creative manner. With the use of mixed media, texture, and a vibrant display of colors she generously shares her vitality for life and appreciation for the environment with the world. As an artist, photographer, and diver she finds time to volunteer for environmental cleanup projects from the shoreline to deep wreck dives. A strikingly beautiful photo. The sand, the Brain Coral, the Hogfish with its beautiful coloration, the shadows and the lighting! All perfect!
As an environmentalist, I see deep meaning in this brilliant shot. The coral representing man's thought process and the danger he has put our great oceans and reefs in. And the innocents that can only unknowingly deal with what happens to their fragile world.
An opportunity for a lovely photo that was marvelously taken advantage of!
